Background
Bill Bateman’s Bistro opened its’ doors in 1986 in Baltimore County, MD, “Home of the Best Buffalo Wings in Town! ” A neighborhood restaurant and sports bar with daily specials, catering, and delicious food from wings and ribs to burgers and wraps. Over the past 21 years, Bill has opened 9 other locations in the greater Baltimore area. They crossed the Mason Dixon Line and opened their first Bistro out of state in Hanover, PA. A bistro is a full service restaurant offering a full bar. The Express version of Bill Bateman’s offers the same product at a more casual level for the family.
Although there are tables in Express locations, all orders are placed at the counter and no alcoholic beverages are available. It is in a sense a fast food version of the original, bistro concept. They offer the same great quality of award winning wings, famous ribs, the incredible Crab Pretzel, plus all the other items Bill Bateman customers have come to love. Cost and Fees
Bistro $30,000
Express $10,000
All franchises are subject to a 5% royalty.
Construction costs are the responsibilty of each new franchisee. Costs will vary for each new franchise. A typical Bistro is approximately 6000 square feet and a typical Express is approximately 2500 square feet.
Training and Support
A two week training period is provided for each new franchisee. Telephone support is available anytime thereafter.
